It hurts my heart to know that your Richard is gone, but I am sure that his pain and struggle with his health are no more. Remember when we took the little day trip to Ellijay and as we came around a corner Richard exclaimed, "Well would you look at that!" I was in the back seat thinking, 'Richard it's a golf course'. get over it' and then we realized that the car's navigation system had taken us in a big loop and we had driven along one side of the course already! We laughed until there were tears. At times like these especially that I wish I lived just down the road. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there, but you know how much I love you and your family. I'm so grateful to have had those recent trips back home and got to know you so much better. I always loved you, but those trips were so special. Our family sends their love, Diane

We were so saddened to learn of Richard's passing. He was so gracious in his business dealings' as I witnessed when waiting for my auto repairs. I was also very inspired to see how he dealt with his illness. He took each day as a new day that God had blessed him with. He will be missed by all who took pleasure in his presence and you, the family, will have a big hole in your hearts that only time will fill with cherished memories. May God comfort you this sad day and all of the days as you move forward.

Richard Barnes was truly a great friend!, and good man! I had the honor of working with Richard at Gentry's when he served as the Service Director, and I as Sales Manager - good times, great memories! Richard was also a good personal friend. My prayers go out to Connie and his family.
