Marion County Veterans Park

The Memorial

The park opened in 2008. Framed with several Prisoner of War and American flags and flags representing each branch of service. The Marion County courthouse in Jasper, TN includes monuments to soldiers who have died in the service of their county, but the Veterans Memorial Park in Whitwell, TN is the only one in the County that is for all Veterans. 

Donations are welcome for the upkeep of the park’s static displays and the overall maintenance of the Veteran’s park.

Membership to the Veterans Memorial Park Committee

Please feel free to contact us if you are a Marion County Veteran and wish to the park of our group. The Committee meets on the first Saturday of each month at Whitwell City Hall @ 9:00 a.m. CST.
