Wilma Jean (Stewart) Murray

WILMA JEAN MURRAY

Wilma Jean Murray, 78, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee was called home on July 15, 2024.  On November 25, 1945, she was born to the late John F. Stewart and Margie Allen Stewart.  Jean worked for TVA for twenty-seven years until her retirement.  She loved to garden, her flowers, loved her cats and spending time with her family.

Jean is preceded in death by her father, John F. Stewart; mother, Margie Allen Stewart; brothers, John D. Stewart, Charles “Good Boy” Allen; sisters, Elizabeth Pittman, Janie Kirkpatrick, Annabelle Crownover, Linda “Cooter” Willis.

Left to cherish her memories are her longtime partner of thirty years, Ken Roberts; son, Charles D. Murray, Jr.; daughter, Stacie (Tim) Reynolds; brother-in-law, Neil Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Caleb Murray, Jakoby (Paige) Reynolds, Kamryn (Chris) Reynolds; great grandchildren, McKenna Murray, Mollee Reynolds, Tatem Reynolds, Trey Wingo, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST and on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Ronnie Case officiating.

Jean will be laid to rest on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
