WILLARD SMITH

Willard Smith, 75, of Jasper, Tennessee went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 26, 2022.  Willard was born to the late Balaam Smith and Eleanor Rogers Smith on December 27, 1946.  He was married to Janice Beene Smith and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was a carpenter and was previously employed by Hamilton Concrete.  Willard enjoyed woodworking, reading and spending time with his family.

Willard is preceded in death by his father, Balaam Smith; mother, Eleanor Rogers Smith; brothers, Isaac Smith, Samuel Smith, John Smith, Leroy Smith, William Smith, J. B. Smith, Billy Joe Smith, Ben Smith and Raymond Smith; sister, Alma Vance.

He leaves his memories to his wife, Janice Beene Smith; son, Gregg Smith; brothers, Earnest (Loretta) Smith, Clifford (Myrna) Smith, Mack Smith, Donnie (Donna) Smith, and sister, Irene McAlpin.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 1:00 pm CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with Pastor Steve Middleton officiating.

Pallbearers are Bob Moree, Mack Smith, Brian Meeks and Andy Winters.
