WANDA AILEEN BILLINGSLEY SHARP

Wanda Aileen Billingsley Sharp, age 75, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family in Jasper, Tennessee on October 2, 2023.  Wanda was a member of the Jasper Church of Christ.  She married the love of her life John “Bobby” Alexander Sharp on September 28, 1968.  They were together for 50 years until Bobby’s death.  She was a loving homemaker for Bobby and her 2 daughters.  Wanda loved her flowers, gardening and spending time with all her grandchildren where they got to experience the “farm life.”

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, John “Bobby” Alexander Sharp of 50 years; father and mother, John and Wilma Billingsley; brother, Stanley Billingsley; sister, Darlene Johnson, brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Carol Billingsley and nephew Jason Billingsley.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Karen (Kevin) Brown, Leanne (Eddie) Rodgers; grandchildren, Jonathan Troxell, Tyler (Kenda) Brown, Katie (Blake Boozer) Brown, Lauren, Marina and T. J. Rodgers; great grandchildren, Olivia Brown, Landon Patterson, Jackson “Little Bobby” Boozer, Brantley and Henry Troxell; sister-in-law and best friend, Sandra Quarles; special friends, Ray and Wanda Murphy, Jimmy Crow, Jim Crow; nieces, Tonya Hickey, Sonya Van Rees, Sabra Southerland, Sheila Lippard; nephews, Chris and Craig McClain, Adam Billingsley, Tony and Nick Johnson; her faithful Chihuahua, Max who never left her side.  Special thanks to Hearth Hospice with special gratitude to nurses, Paige Scott and Stephanie Lund.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm CST and on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Bruce Leonard officiating.

Burial will be on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Spangler Cemetery in Whitwell, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Tyler Brown, Blake Boozer, Eddie Rodgers, T. J. Rodgers, Kevin Brown and Johnny Spangler.
