VIRGINIA "JENNY" LEE VANALLMAN

Virginia "Jenny" Lee VanAllman, 79, gained her heavenly wings and was guided to the golden gates of heaven with her Lord and Savior by her side on Saturday, March 19, 2022.   Jenny was a resident of South Pittsburg, TN where she and her husband, Jerry VanAllman lived.  She was born on October 24, 1942, to the late Lawrence Franks and Emma Wilson Franks in Chattanooga, TN.    Jenny had been employed with the Galaxy Carpet Mills as a spinner.   

Jenny was a wife and mother who loved her family with a fierce and generous heart.  She loved taking care of her animals and loved her own pets, especially her beloved dog, Cujo.  Jenny was a precious soul who never shied away from a problem or obstacle and was an inspiration to anyone who knew her.  Her favorite flower was lilacs and her favorite color is yellow.  Jenny had a heart that was loving and giving, and she will be missed by each soul that crossed her path.  She attended Battle creek Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Franks; her mother, Emma Wilson Franks; son, Mikey VanAllman; son-in-law, Tommy Dixon; brothers, Eddie Franks; brother-in-law, Hershel Siler; sisters, Helen Siler, Vickie Harriman; sister-in-law, Betty Frank; and granddaughter Chasity Wileman.

Jenny leaves her love to her husband, Jerry VanAllman; son, Jimmy(Tammy) VanAllman; daughters, Jennifer Dixon, Joyce Ann Culbertson(James) and Christy Gilliam;  along with four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will have visitation on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST and on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.  

Funeral service will be at the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home following the visitation on Thursday March 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm CST with Pastor Calvin Nunley and Pastor Joe VanAllman officiating.

Interment will be at Orme Cemetery in South Pittsburg, TN following the service.

Pallbearers are Johnny Mathews, Roger Mathews Tony VanAllman, Terry VanAllman, Derrick VanAllman, Chris Davis and James Culbertson.
