TINA DEREE KILGORE DALTON

Tina DeRee Kilgore Dalton, 61 of Whitwell, Tennessee, was called home to Heaven on October 10, 2022.  She was born to the late Raymond Kilgore and Dorothy Williams Kilgore on July 20, 1961.  Tina was saved at age 12 and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She was an active member of Baptist Hill Baptist Church until her illness kept her from her calling.  Tina was a 1980 graduate of Marion County High School and married her husband of 42 years Mike Dalton on August 1, 1980.  She was a loving wife and mother, loved all the people she came in contact with.  Tina loved gardening, working with her flowers, being outside, and enjoyed the walking trails at South Cumberland State Park and the Smoky Mountains.  She loved listening to gospel music and her favorite band was the Gaithers.

Tina is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Kilgore; mother, Dorothy Kilgore; mother-in-law, Nancy Dalton; and sister-in-law Janice Adkins.

She leaves her precious memories to her husband, Mike Dalton; sons, Shawn Dalton and Zach Dalton; father-in-law, Kenneth Dalton; mother-in-law, Della Dalton; brother, Steve Kilgore, brother-in-law Don (Angie) Dalton, Greg Adkins; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Ralph and Sharon Lauderback.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home, LLC in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, LLC in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following visitation with Pastor Steve Sellers officiating.

Burial will be on October 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm CST at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee following the funeral Service.

Pallbearers are Jeff Belk, Brandon Dalton, Jack Jordan, Wendell Robertson, Bill Robertson and Denver Shrum.
