THELMA “ANNIE” ANN MEEKS PARKER

On the morning of Monday, September 20, 2021, the angels sang while the Lord lead Thelma “Annie” Ann Meeks Parker to be with her Lord in heaven.  Annie was a resident of Jasper, TN and had been married to the late James Isaac Parker.   She was born on January 6, 1944 to the late Truman and Annie Manzo Meeks.    Annie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.   She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and cooking for her loved ones.

Annie leaves her memories to her daughters, Sharon Wardlaw and Janet (Adam) Roberts; grandchildren, Jessica, Amber, Felicia, Christopher, Tiffany, Zack and Megan; great-grandchildren, Thalia, Juliana, Carmen, Andy, Daniel, Briley, Christian, Bradley, Huntlee, Jaxxon, Natalie and Connor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Isaac Parker; parents, Truman and Annie Manzo Meeks; daughter, Pam Kitchen; brother, Danny Meeks and sister, Rosemary Meeks.

DUE TO COVID REGULATIONS, MASK WILL BE MANDATORY WHETHER YOU HAVE UNDERLYING ISSUES OR NOT.

The family will have visitation on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home following the visitation at 2:00 pm CST with Brother Joe Moore officiating.

Pallbearers are Spud Parker, Corky Parker, Brad Roberts, Shane King, Zachary Roberts and Adam Roberts.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.
