TERRY KEITH THOMAS

Terry Keith Thomas, 68, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.  On December 10, 1956, he was born to the late James C. Thomas and Fran Lofty Thomas in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  He was of Baptist faith.  Terry served in the United States Navy from 1976 to 1980 being stationed in Charleston, South Carolina and Virginia Beach, Virginia and serviced submarines in Scottland.   He worked as a Software Manager for Measurex, ABB, Honeywell, and finished his career with Metals USA.  Terry loved music and playing guitar, especially rock and roll.  Terry was very athletic, playing tennis and baseball throughout his 30’s.  He was a big Tennessee Vols fan.  Terry loved his family very much.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, James C. Thomas; mother, Fran Lofty Thomas and brother, Larry Wayne Thomas.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Terry Keith “T. K.” Thomas, Jr.; daughter, Nichole Thomas (Christopher) Ridge, granddaughter, Abbi Thomas, several other family members and special friends.

Visitation is on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon CST (12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm EST) at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 12:00 Noon CST (1:00 pm ET) in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Ronnie Case officiating.

Terry will be laid to rest on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
