TERRY B. HOLDER

Terry B. Holder, 74, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, was called home on Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born to the late Milburn Holder and Ruby Dalton Holder on October 21, 1948. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, and he owned AJ & L Landscaping Company. He loved fishing, gardening, flowers and the country view of the mountains and river. Terry was a very laid-back person, caring more about others than he did himself. He was a very honest trustworthy person.

Terry is preceded in death by his father Milburn Holder.

He leaves his memories to his mother, Ruby Dalton Holder; sons, Luke Holder, Jay Holder, Aaron Holder; daughter, Renee Thorpe; brother, Les (Donna) Holder; sister, Charlotte (Thomas) DiTullio; grandchildren, Chloe McCurtain, Cole Aycox, Ella Grace Louise Holder, Shane Lucas Holder and Walter Lance Holder along with several nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful to Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care and services.

Visitation is on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper Tennessee.

Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 3:00 pm CST with Pastor Ronnie Case officiating.

Burial is Friday, July 21, 2023, at Beene Raulston Cemetery in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, immediately following the funeral service. 

Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard will perform an honor ceremony at the cemetery.

The pallbearers are Nathan Dennis, Nathan Kilgore, Scott Adams, Jake Holder, Darrell Talley and Lance Talley.
