TAMMY LYNN DOVER

Tammy Lynn Dover, 63, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 14, 2023.  On December 13, 1959, she was born to Donald Duane Moore and Arie Wanda Caudill Moore.  She was Baptist by faith and attended Bethel Incline Church in Whitwell, Tennessee.  Tammy Lynn Dover was married to the love of her life, Ricky Hugo Dover for thirty-nine years.  She worked for the Marion County School System for twenty-three years, where she not only taught at the school but also drove a school bus.  Tammy loved her family and loved to make memories.  She liked to travel and loved to go fishing and camping.  She loved her family and her friends.  Her motto was “Not My Circus, Not My Monkey”.  Tammy always used the deaf sign for I love You!! 

Tammy is preceded in death by father, Donald Duane Moore; son, Stephen Donald Dover; nephews, Eric Nathan Oliver and David Adam Oliver.

She leaves all her memories to her husband, Ricky Hugo Dover; mother, Arie Wanda Caudill Moore; son, Ricky (Alisha) Dover; bonus daughter, Natalie Sanders; brother, Duane Allen (Key) Moore; sister, Darla (David) Oliver; grandchildren, Eric Stephen Dover, Jaylyn Dover; nephew, Dane Reagan Moore, Corey Allen Moore, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm CST and on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 6:00 pm CST, there will be an Eastern Star Ceremony following the visitation.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

Burial will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Nick Tuders, Casey Norman, Rocky Wilkinson, William Hatfield, Frank Davis (Little Bit) and Johnny Condra.
