SYLVIA RENEE COOPER

Sylvia Renee Cooper, 48, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on September 1, 2025.  She was born on July 7, 1977, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Richard Wiley Cooper and the late Kathy Nell Rickey.   Sylvia will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her kind spirit, and the legacy of strength and devotion she leaves behind in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by Kathy Nell Rickey Cooper and Sylvia Couch.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Christopher Chandler Bond, Malcolm Nathaniel Bond, and Gracie Lucinda (Clayton) Stout.  She was a proud grandmother to Oliver Henry “Hank” Stout and Brooklin Rose Bond.  She is also survived by her sister, Kristy JueLynn (John) Blevins; brothers, Lance Richard Cooper and Derek Wayne Cooper; father, Richard Wiley Cooper.

A service to honor and celebrate Sylvia’s life will be held at Coppinger Cove Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm CST.  Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and pay their respects.
