Susie Powell

Susie Powell, 63, Sequatchie, TN., passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Susie was a member of Kimball Church of Christ.

She was born Feb. 13, 1955 to the late James Guffey and Lillie Mae Lewis; also preceded by her husband William Marshall Powell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Denise (Richard) Miles; step-mother, Freda Johnson of St. Louis Missouri; brothers, Steven (Faye) Guffey of Jasper, TN., Bobby (Margie) Guffey of New Hope, TN., Greg Lewis of Whitwell, TN.; sister, Betty Cunningham; grandchildren, Amber Powell, Hunter Miles and Shawn Releford; several nieces and nephews; several step-brothers and step-sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. CST.

Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. CST with Minister Billy Watkins officiating.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
