SUSIE ALLISON
Susie Allison, 78, of Jasper, Tennessee, was called home on Friday, June 12, 2026. Susie was born on September 1, 1948, to Virgil Clyde Cash, Sr. and Irene Roberts Cash, who instilled in her the warmth, strength, and compassion she carried throughout her life. She later married James O. Allison, with whom she shared many years of love and partnership until his passing. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Susie spent her career in manufacturing at South Pittsburg Knitting Mill, where she was known for her reliability, kindness, and steady presence. Outside of work, she was proudly the biggest Tennessee football fan, cheering on the Vols with unmatched enthusiasm. What defined Susie most was her heart. She cared deeply for everyone she met, offering encouragement, comfort, and genuine connection. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. And nothing brought her more happiness than her beloved great‑grandbaby, whom she cherished above all else. Susie leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to the people she held dear. Her memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the lives she touched.
Susie is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Clyde Cash, Sr.; mother, Irene Roberts Cash; husband, James O. Allison; and brother, Virgil Cash.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, James C. (Tanya) Allison; brother, Vernon Ray (Kathy) Cash; sisters, Carol Young, Linda Cash; grandchildren, Brittany (Chad) Smith, Natalee Poe, Christian Allison; great grandchild, Chandler Smith; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
