SHEILA “VIVIAN” DYKES

Sheila “Vivian” Dykes, 64, of Jasper was called home on Monday, October 10, 2022.  On December 30, 1957, she was born to the late William Vernon Reeves and Deolvia Hunnicutt Reeves.  Vivian worked for the United States Postal Service as a Postal Carrier.  She loved to camp, travel, visit the Amish Communities and spend time with her family.  Vivian enjoyed quilting, canning and helping other people.

Vivian is preceded in death by her father, William Vernon Reeves; and brother, Jere Reeves.

She leaves all her precious memories to her mother, Deolvia Hunnicutt Reeves; son, Ragan (Cristal) Dykes; daughters, Brittani (Kyle) Medina; Melanie Meeks; brother, Mickey Reeves; grandchildren, Elizabeth Dykes, Noah Allen, Lucy Medina, Harper Medina and Sam Medina.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST and Friday, October 14, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home, LLC in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, LLC in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Marvin McClendon officiating.

Burial will be on Friday, October 14, 2022, at New Hope Cemetery in New Hope, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Lance Brown, David Smith, Ray Durham, Scott Cooley, Michael Reeves and Norman Hunnicutt.
