SCOTTIE  "BAM" M. HALE

Scottie "Bam" M. Hale, of Bridgeport, AL, went home to be with the Lord at the young age of 58 on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.  He was born on October 27, 1963, to the late Marion “Duck” and Louise Hale. 

Scottie was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School Class of 81’.   He was a member of the Sweeten Cove Church of Christ, South Pittsburg, TN.

Scottie’s hobbies included landscaping, carpentry, and working on cars, listening to music, and spending time with his great-grandson, Jukiah.   He loved working in his church and helping people.   Scottie was a family-oriented man along with being an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.

Scottie was preceded in death by his parents, Marion "Duck" and Louise Hale and brother, Ricky Hale.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Velma Hale; step-children, Stacey (Jennie) Allen and Kimberly Allen and Terry Chapman; sister, Vickie Middleton; brothers, Judas (Linda) Hale and Anthony Hale; aunt, Vivian Moore; uncle, Alvin McCarver; brother-in-law, Chester Holloway; nieces, Anneka (Jamon) Bass and Nikki (Will); Toni Middleton; Cierra Buckner and Tamia Malone; nephew, Kevin (Kimyon) Mitchell; step-grandchildren, Jeremy (Dakota), Justin (Christy), Jermaine, Regine, Jeremy, Jamal and Kilea; step-great grandchildren, Jada, Allani, Kaylee, Myiah, Jukiah, and Akyia; along with a host of relatives and friends.

The family will have visitation on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN. 

His "Celebration of Life" will be held at 12:00 noon CST following the visitation in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Torey officiating.

Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.
