SANDRA DEE RICHARDSON

The Lord took the precious hand of Sandra Dee Richardson to guide her Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.   Sandra was 58 years old and grew up in the town she loved of Whitwell, TN.  Later in life she moved to South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  Sandra was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and a great friend.   She was a known as the “Neighborhood Mom and Grandmother”.

Sandra attended many churches around the community.  Her love of her life were her children and grandchildren.  She was active with her church and missionaries.  Her passion was spreading the word of God and she loved to sing.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Effaye McWherter.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Dwayne Richardson; daughters, Carrie Griffith and Cassandra Henry; grandchildren, Alexia Griffith, Alyssa Griffith, Carlie Griffith, Jayla Henry, Addison Griffith, Elijah Brocks, Jamiach Brocks along with special friends, Marcus Shedd, Yada Hutchins, Renee Rollins and Nacole Neighbors.

The family wishes to thank family and friends for the calls, visits and caring for their mother.

The family will have visitation on Wednesday, February 19, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation in the chapel with Pastor David Berry officiating.

Sandra will be laid to rest at a later date in a private ceremony.
