SAMUEL “SCOTT” McCANN, JR.

Samuel “Scott” McCann, Jr., 58, of Sequatchie, Tennessee was called home on May 26, 2024.  On December 31, 1965, he was born to the late Samuel McCann and Claudette (Jackson) McCann.  Scott served in the United States Navy and was married to Kelli (Smith) McCann.  He worked for Lodge Manufacturing as a Maintenance Electrician.  Scott was a mechanic who loved working on cars, the Tennessee Vols and football in general as he played when he was younger.  Scott loved spending time with his family and grandchildren teaching the oldest two grandchildren how to shoot BB guns and he enjoyed fishing.

Scott is preceded in death by his father, Samuel McCann; mother, Claudette (Jackson) McCann and brother, David McCann.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Kelli Smith McCann; son, Zackery (Jennifer) McCann; daughter, Sidney (Zackery) Milleson; sisters, Mendy Munn, Peaches (Jason) Gibson, Heather (Luis) Rojas; grandchildren, Ezra, Zephyr, Zyler, Zayne, Zayden, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

The family will hold a visitation on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 3:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Brother Gene Fuller officiating.

Interment will follow the funeral at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.
