RUBY FAYE PAYNE

Ruby Faye Payne, 60, of Chattanooga, Tennessee was called home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.  On May 16, 1963, she was born to the late Luther Cagle and Mildred Havner Baggett.  Ruby was married to Leonard Payne.  She loved flowers, going to yard sales, spending time with her grandchildren, family and enjoyed going fishing.

Ruby is preceded in death by her father, Luther Cagle; mother, Mildred Havner Baggett; brothers, Michael Cagle, Charles Cagle and David Cagle.

She leaves her memories to her husband, Leonard Payne; son, Joshua (Hayley) Payne; daughters, Jessica (Kevin) Wellsted, Tabitha Payne; sister, Connie (Fabian) Baggett; grandchildren, Zuri Wellsted, Milli Wellsted, Leonidas Payne, Ryker Payne, Namaste Saunders, several nieces, nephews, family members and special friends.

Visitation is Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm CST and on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Doug Ramsey officiating.

She will be laid to rest on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Joshua Payne, Kevin Wellsted, Daniel VanAllman, Joey Baggett, Cody Packer and Michael VonPeters.
