ROSIE LEE SEXTON KEELER

Rosie Lee Sexton Keeler, at age of 85 years old from Jasper, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She retired from Jasper Elementary School Cafeteria where she worked for 50 plus years.   One of her greatest joys was seeing all her kids every day.  She was known by all of them as “Granny”.  She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a devoted member of the Bible Baptist Church in Jasper, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton Lee Sexton and Pearl Fain Sexton and two sisters, Betty Jean Clayton and Opal Westerman.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Earl S. Keeler; two sons, Earl (Margaret) Keeler and Stanley (Donna) Keeler; three daughters, Penny Ruth, Patricia Ruth and Brenda Bast; eleven (11) grandchildren; twenty-five (25) great-grandchildren; three (3) great-great grandchildren; two brothers, J.L. Sexton and Billy Wayne Cook; one sister, Linda Cook along with several nieces, nephews and loving friends.

The family will have a private visitation on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Lane, Jasper, TN.

A private graveside service will be held following the visitation at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.  

Pallbearers are James Keeler, Aaron Keeler, Trampas Ruth, Eric Ruth, Travis Bradford and Joshua Bradford.
