ROBERT “BOB” HENRY GARNER

Robert “Bob” Henry Garner, 80, of Sequatchie, Tennessee was called home on Monday, October 23, 2023.  Bob was born to the late Theodore R. Garner and Hula Garner on April 9, 1943.  He was married to Elaine Garner.  He was in the United States Air Force and worked for the United States Post Office for twelve years.  Bob loved college football, guns, rescuing stray dogs and enjoyed being outside.  He served in the United States Air Force for twenty years before retiring.  Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and had a funny personality. 

Bob is preceded in death by his father, Theodore R. Garner; mother, Hula Garner; wife, Elaine Garner; brothers, David Garner, John Garner, Jim Garner; sisters, Doris Mitchell and Shirley Layne.

Left to cherish his memories are his brother, Charles Garner, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation is Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

There will be a graveside service immediately following the visitation on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard will be present to present Military Honors.
