RITA FAYE BRAZIEL WILBOURN

Rita Faye Braziel Wilbourn, 55, gained her heavenly wings on Monday, April 26, 2021 at home with her family by her side.   She was born on February 25, 1966 to the late Oscar “Shot” Braziel and Patsy Gibson Braziel.   Rita loved being a mother, adored her family and doted over her grandchildren.  She was known as never meeting a stranger during her lifetime.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Wilbourn, Sr.; parents, Oscar “Shot” Braziel and Patsy Gibson Braziel; brothers, Jerry Braziel and Terry Braziel.

Rita leaves her memories to her sons, Larry Braziel and Andrew Wilbourn, Jr.; brother, William “Bill” (Deb Callan) Braziel; sisters, Patricia (Jeff) Moody, Tammy (Jackie) Guy and Tracy (Ricky) Long; grandchildren Adriana, Andrew, III and Larry Wilbourn along with several nieces and nephew and beloved friends.

The family will have visitation on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm ct.  at Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, TN. 

There will be a graveside service following the visitation at 3:00 pm CT at Layne’s Chapel, Whitwell, TN.
