Raymond "Brint" Hill

After a lengthy illness and his family by his side, the Lord called Raymond “Brint” Hill at the age of 60 years old, home on Thursday, November 21, 2019.  Brint was a native of South Pittsburg, TN and was loved by everyone who knew him.    He was the founder, owner, and manager of Hills Furniture Store in Kimball, TN.  

Brint was known as being the best husband, father, son, brother, uncle and a loyal friend to all that knew him.   His greatest love was his amazing Lord and Savior along with his family and his dog, Glacier.   Brint’s pastimes were hunting, fishing, and watching the Andy Griffith Show.  He was also known for his love of Tennessee Football.    As he could be heard it was always “IT’S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE”.

Brint is preceded in death by his father, Gordon Hill, Jr.

Those left to cherish Brint’s memories are his wife, Paige Hill; mother, Patty Hill; son, Josh Barba-Hill (Kevin); daughters, Carrie Hill (Jesse) and Kate Hill; brother, Gordon Hill, III; sister, Rhonda Hill; nephews, Garrison Guess, Alex and Payne Mosley; nieces, Hannah and Grace Guess along with a host of beloved friends who never left his side.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the National MS Society or Hospice of Chattanooga in memory of Brint Hill.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30th, 2019 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Tate Funeral Home following the visitation on Saturday at 2:00 pm CT with Rev. Isaac Blevins and Pastor David Hoschar officiating.

Brint will be laid to rest at a later date in a private ceremony with his family.
