RAY “RED” ARVIL BRAMLETT, 92, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022. He was born on March 22, 1929, to Cora Lee Bramlett. Ray was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church for fifty-seven years and served as a deacon for many years. He was committed to work as a supervisor at Wheland Foundry for years. His hobbies included bowling and playing pool with his friends. Ray loved being outdoors enjoying nature while hiking and loved working in his garden each year. He was fondly known as “Red” by his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Hughes Bramlett; his mother, Cora Lee Bramlett; son-in-law, Ken Bruce; brother, Willie Bramlett; sister and brother-in-law, Lillie Mae and Grady (Bug) Starks.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Larry (Debbie) Bramlett; daughter, Jo Bruce; grandchildren, Bryan (Amye) Bramlett, Erin (Jeremy) Waddell, Mandy Bucher, Christopher (Tiffany) Bruce, Patrick (Sheryl) Bruce; and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will have visitation on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm CST. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 3:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Long officiating the service.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Waddell, Bryan Bramlett, Christopher Bruce, Patrick Bruce, Jordan Bucher, and David Wright.
