PATSY R. HUDSON

The Lord called Patsy Hudson to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.    Patsy was 84 years old, a resident of Jasper, TN and married to Grady E. Hudson.    She was born on June 3, 1936 to Francis and Lena Magouirk.    She had served as the Marion County Clerk at the Marion County Courthouse for numerous years.     Patsy loved to travel, she was very active in her church and loved to shop.    She was of the Nazarene faith and a member of the Jasper Church Of The Nazarene of Jasper, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Grady E. Hudson; parents, Francis and Lena Magouirk and brothers, Thurman Magouirk and Keith Magouirk.

Patsy leaves her memories to her sons, Dennis (Rebecca) Hudson and Danny (Sharon) Hudson; daughters, Debbie (Michael) Stockwell and Denise (Tim) McClure; brother, Doug (Shirley) Magouirk; sister, Iva (Fred) Cassiday; grandchildren, Chris Bowman, Larry Hudson, Angie Hudson, Matthew Hudson, Jason Elliott, Ashley McClure, Paige McClure, Tori Finch and Tyler Finch; great-grandchildren, C.J. Bowman, Hunter McClure and Grady Hudson along with several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

The family will have visitation on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 1:00 pm CT to 4:00 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

There will be a “Memorial Service” following the visitation at 4:00 pm CT in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Brother Bill Ross officiating.  

Mask and social distancing are required per the CDC regulations.

The family will lay Patsy to rest at a later date in a private ceremony.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Alzheimer’ s Association  at www.atc.alz.org
