NORMA J. SMITH

Norma J. Smith, 97, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2023.  She was born to the late Victor Anderson and Mae Townsend Anderson on April 5, 1926.  Norma was married to the late Charles Smith.  She was a member of the Jasper Church of the Nazarene.  She loved to read, work puzzles, work in the garden, and with her flowers.  She loved crossword puzzles, watching cooking shows and spending time with her family.

Norma is preceded in death by her father, Victor Anderson; mother, Mae Townsend Anderson; husband, Charles Smith; brother, Robert Anderson; sisters, Shirley Hammerle and Carole Capps.

She leaves all her memories to her sons, Larry (Paula) Smith, Robert (Barb) Smith; daughter, Patricia (Grady) Lankster; brother, Ted (Nancy) Anderson, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday, June 16, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are Friday, June 16, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Mike Campbell officiating.

Burial is Friday, June 16, 2023, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee, immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Matt Smith, Andrew Smith, Nick Smith, Tony Smith, Douglas Lankster and Kaleb Lankster.
