NETTIE MARIE HARRIS

Marie Harris, 83, of Lyerly, Georgia was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. She was born to the late Grady Dobbins and Lillian Gertrude Vaughn on September 9, 1940. Marie was a true housewife who loved her husband Gerald Lee Harris, and loved fishing with him. Marie loved to cook, she was the best cook and could cook anything. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She had love and faith in God. Her favorite flower is red roses.

She is preceded in death by her father, Grady Dobbins; mother, Lillian Gertrude Vaughn Dobbins; husband, Gerald Lee Harris; sons, Bobby Wright, Grady Lee Harris; brother, Junior Dobbins; and sister, Jimmie Faye Goins.

She leaves her memories to her sons, Charles Wright, Ronald Wright; daughters, Rita (Tony) Dagnan, Kim (Heath) Moore; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

The funeral service will be Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Burial will be on Saturday, September 30, 2023, immediately following the funeral service at McNabb Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee.

Pallbearers are T J Dagnan, Chris Harris, Grady Harris, Jeremy Wright, Travis Payne and James Marshall.
