Nancy Ruth (Arms) Westmoreland

NANCY RUTH ARMS WESTMORELAND

The Lord guided Nancy Ruth Westmoreland to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 7, 2021.   Nancy was 71 years old and a resident of Sequatchie, TN.    She was born on January 5, 1950 to her parents, Edgar and Louise Arms.   Nancy had worked as an Insurance Agent for American Family for the majority of her adult life.   She is of the Church of God faith and a member of Joyful Sound Church in Chattanooga, TN. 

Nancy was known for her faith to God, loving her church and assisting with any event needed in her church.   She loved her children, grandchildren and friends.   Nancy spent her time helping anyone in general with any need by giving with her heart and soul.  Nancy will be missed by her family and her beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Westmoreland and parents, Edgar Bruce Arms and Louise Finch Arms. 

Nancy leaves her beautiful memories to her children, Danny Rutledge and Cynthia Rutledge; stepchildren, Brian Westmoreland and Kelly Mitchell; grandchildren, Tyler Quick, Emily (Ricky) Fehr, Bailey (Andy) McGowan, Peyton Westmoreland, Lilli and Cassia Mitchell; great-granddaughter, Taylor Swafford along with a host of loving friends.

The family will have visitation on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

The graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm CT at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN following the visitation.   Pastor Mike Grace will officiate the service.
