Myrtle "Jean" (Curvin) Acuff

MYRTLE "JEAN" CURVIN ACUFF

After a lengthy illness, the Lord took the hand of Myrtle "Jean" Curvin Acuff, age of 72, to guide her through the pearly gates of heaven on Monday, March 8, 2021.     Jean was born on April 13, 1948 to the late McKinley and Dorothy Curvin.   She was a resident of Jasper, TN where she lived with her husband, John Acuff, Jr.  Jean was a member of Bethel Incline Church in Whitwell, TN.     Her love was her husband, John and she had the love of fashion and always looking her best.   She loved to clean and working in her garden.  Jean had been employed at Acuff Inn in Jasper, TN for twenty-one (21) years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, McKinley Curvin and Dorothy Nunley Curvin; brother, Landon Curvin; and sisters, Olie Frizzell and Patty Layne.

She leaves her memories to her husband of 19 years, John Acuff, Jr.; brothers, Herman (Pat) Curvin and Randall Curvin; sister, Cindy Cranmore along with several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

The family will have visitation on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm CT and Friday, March 12, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm CT at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens, in Jasper, TN with Pastor David King officiating.
