MYRTLE TATE
Myrtle Tate, 99, of Kimball, Tennessee was called home on September 28, 2024. Myrtle was born on Whitwell Mountain and spent most of her years in Kimball, Tennessee.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her father, Claude Meredith Roberson; mother, Lily Payne Roberson; sons, Richard Rev Henderson, Gene Henderson, Charles Red Henderson, David Mickey Henderson; daughter, Mary Ruth Henderson; brothers, Luther, Richard, Babe Ruth, Carl “Banks”, Cecil “Jib” Roberson; sisters, Violet Lingerfelt Mosier and Frankie Ross.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Shelia (Roger) Lawson; sister, Katherine Roberson; grandchildren, Roman Lawson, Shalice (Aaron) Hornsby, Laura (Shaun) Hayworth; great grandchildren, Alexis (Dawson) Holloway, Blake Lawson, Maddie Hayworth and Hayden Hayworth.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 pm CST and on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Ronnie Case officiating.
Myrtle will be laid to rest on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.
Pallbearers are Roman Lawson, Blake Lawson, Aaron Hornsby, Shaun Hayworth, Dawson Holloway and Roger Lawson.
