MYRTLE RUTH MOORS
Myrtle Ruth Moors, 91, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 23, 2025. On May 15, 1934, she was born to the late Frank Lawson and Alice Gray Lawson. Myrtle worked as a Sales Associate for Walmart, previously in Illinois, and was excited to transfer to Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia where she retired. She enjoyed reading her bible and going to church. Myrtle loved animals, especially her German Shepherd. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
Myrtle is preceded in death by her father, Frank Lawson; mother, Alice Gray Lawson; brothers, Harry Lawson, Talmadge Lawson, Roy Edward Lawson, Charles Lawson, Bill Lawson, Carl Lawson; and sisters, Josie Myers, Frankie Brooks.
Left to cherish her memories are several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
There will be a Graveside service on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens at 10:00 am CST with Pastor Ronnie Case officiating.
Pallbearers will be family members.
