MICHAEL JOHN “CORNBREAD” IRWIN
The Lord called Michael John “Cornbread” Irwin home on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019. Michael was a lifetime resident of South Pittsburg, Tennessee. At the age of 58, he worked for CWP Trucking as a truck driver. He had served in the United State Army as a Private 2.
Cornbread loved driving his truck, riding his motorcycle and most of all playing with his grandson, “Corn Dog”.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Herlinger and wife, Martha Irwin.
Those left to cherish his memories are his father, John Irwin; sons, Kevin Irwin, Austin Irwin and James Kubacki; daughters, Jessica (Tom) Johnson and Samantha Evola; brother, Tony Gann and sisters, Pollie (Randy) Gurley and Susie (Otmar) Wehee and grandchildren, Hunter Owens, Jayden Hughes, Ashton Michael, Jazmin Johnson, Brealynn Bragg and Samantha Kubacki.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28th, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm CDT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
A Memorial Service will be held following the visitation in the chapel at Tate Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. CDT.
Michael will be laid to rest at a later date.
