MICHAEL JOSEPH RHOADS

Michael Joseph Rhoads, 80, of Jasper, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at his home.  He was born to the late Frank Joseph Rhoads and Erma Pomar Rhoads on December 7, 1942.  He was married to Sandra Fay Arden Rhoads for 51 years.  Michael enjoyed working on motors, collecting trains, enjoyed spending time with his family and working on computers.  He graduated from Knoxville Catholic High School in 1961.  Michael joined the Army in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1964.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Frank Joseph Rhoads; mother, Erma Pomar Rhoads and grand daughter, Jennifer Nicole Waldrop.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-one years, Sandra Fay Arden Rhoads; daughters, Angie Lynn Thompson, Becky Ann Rhoads; grandsons T. J. Waldrop, Andy Waldrop and Jeffrey Waldrop.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Roy Cheaves officiating.

Honors will be presented at graveside by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
