MELISSA “MISSY” RENEE HOGE

Melissa “Missy” Renee Hoge, 44, of Jasper, Tennessee, was called home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Born on November 26, 1981, she was the beloved daughter of Robert “Bobby” Hoge and Thelma Diane Moore Hoge.  Missy dedicated more than 20 years of her life to her work as a Prep Manager at Sonic, where she was known for her strong work ethic, steady leadership, and the kindness she showed to everyone she worked with. Outside of work, she found joy in the simple things that made life rich cheering on the Braves, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with the family she loved so deeply.  Her heart was especially tender toward animals. She adored her dogs, Ruby and Scooby, and had a lifelong love for all creatures great and small.

Missy is preceded in death by her father, Robert Bobby Hoge; and mother, Thelma Diane Moore Hoge.

Left to cherish her memories are her brother, Adam Hoge; uncle, Doug Moore; Aunt, Carla Coleman; several cousins; other family members and friends.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 2:00 pm CST at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee with Ricky Newsom officiating.

Pallbearers are Lance Cooper, Eli Thacker, Ethan Thacker, Eian Thacker, Danny Carr and Whitney Coleman.

In lieu of flowers please make donations for final expenses.
