MARY OLIVIA “LIBBI” THOMPSON

Mary Olivia “Libbi” Thompson, 84, of Tarpon Springs, Florida was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 21, 2025.  She was born on May 13, 1941, to the late Troy Brown and Doris Armstrong Brown.  Libbi was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Palm Harbor, Florida.  She loved going to church, shopping, word search and crossword puzzles.  Libbi had a great love for her family and what she loved most was spending time with them, especially with her great grandchildren.  She loved giving out the baby Jesus to everyone she met.

Libbi is preceded in death by her father, Troy Brown; mother, Doris Armstrong Brown; brother, J. Mercer Brown.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Jeffrey Alan Kryman; daughters, Dori (David) Wiley, Diane Laforest, Judi Charles; grandchildren, Tabitha, Ricky, Christy, Justin, Melissa, Dylan, Whisper, Tiffany, Zaida, Will, Gary, Caleb, Ainsley; great grandchildren, Emma, Benjamin, Timothy, River, Novalee, Miranda, Madison, Bryson, McKenna; nephew, Troy (Terri) Brown; several other family members and special friends.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm CST (1:00 to 3:00 pm ET) at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
