MARY KATHLEEN “KAT” BIBLE MARTIN
Mary Kathleen “Kat” Bible Martin, 95, of Whitwell, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 25, 2023. On September 14, 1928, she was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Bible. She was married to the late Jack E. Martin and was a homemaker in her adult life. Kathleen was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church, in Jasper, Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and playing cards. She was an excellent cook. Kathleen loved and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. & Mrs. William Bible; husband, Jack E. Martin, brothers, Frank Bible, Henry Bible; sisters, Dottie, Mary Velda, Lenice Margaret and granddaughter, Katherine Ann Dalton-Smallwood.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Pamela Jane Harris, Kathy Diane Garcia, Mildred Ann (Darrell) Dalton; grandchildren, Edward Clay Harris, James Martin Harris, Melissa Darlene Dalton, Carlos F. Garcia; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
The family will hold a visitation on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Kathleen will be laid to rest on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.
Pallbearers are Carlos Garcia, Logan Smallwood, Dusty Foshee, Clay Harris, Jim Harris, Darrell Dalton and Ricky Dover.
