MARY HELEN ALDER

Mary Helen Alder, 77, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 22, 2022.  She was born to the late Floyd Douglas Freeman and Hazel Geneva Poe Freeman on June 12, 1945.  She was married to the late Paul Alder and was of the Baptist faith.  Helen loved flowers, spending time with her family and doing yard work.  She loved her grandchildren, cooking, gardening and ice cream.

Helen is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Douglas Freeman; mother, Hazel Geneva Poe Freeman; husband, Paul Alder; son, Michael Laverne Alder; son-in-law, Gregory Allen Floyd; and brother, Billy Floyd Freeman.

She leaves all her memories to her daughters, Tammy Floyd, Paula (George) Tharp, Kim (Coby) Munsey; brothers, Jim Freeman, Ed Freeman, Allen Freeman, Jeff Freeman; sisters, Dorothy Dinsmore, Betty Bond, Linda Gosnell, Barbara Freeman, Kay Smith, Fay Barnes; grandchildren, Jade (Kain) McCown and Drew (Molly) Munsey, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home, LLC in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 1:00 pm CST immediately following visitation in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, LLC with Pastor Erik McDaniel officiating.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Smith, Wesley Smith, Josh Smith, Adam Gilbert, Preston Freeman and T. J. Freeman.

Burial will be at Baptist Hill Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee following the funeral service.
