MARTHA G. TURNER BARNES

Martha G. Turner Barnes, 66, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on, Tuesday, August 30, 2022.  Martha was married to the late James C. Barnes and was born to William R. Turner and the late Grace E. Beesley Turner on August 22, 1956.  Martha was an avid reader, loved gardening and traveling.  She worked at Signal Knitting Mill for several years and drove a school bus for Marion County for 21 years.  She loved all the kids that rode her bus and was a loving mother and friend.

Martha is preceded in death by her father, William R. Turner; mother, Grace E. Beesley Turner, husband, James C. Barnes; brother, Carl A. Turner and sister, Lynn Crabtree.

All her memories are left to her son, James R. Barnes; daughter, Jessica N. Barnes; brother, Eddie Turner and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
