LYNDA J. MUNSEY

Lynda J. Munsey, 79, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.  She was born to the late Asa Munsey and Ada Barnes Munsey on October 25, 1943.  Lynda was a member of Jasper First Baptist Church and loved going to church and being a part of Vacation Bible School with the children.  She loved the Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, shopping, her son, grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Lynda is preceded in death by her father, Asa Munsey; mother, Ada Barnes Munsey and brother, Wayne Munsey.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Coby (Kim) Munsey; brothers, Paul (Donna) Munsey, Doug (Karola) Munsey; two grandchildren, Jade (Kain) McCown, Drew (Molly) Munsey and one great-grandchild, Harper Rose Munsey, several nieces and nephews and special friends.

Visitation is Friday, June 23, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm CST and on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 1:00 pm CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Reverend Mike Gregg and Greg Steele officiating.

Burial will be on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Pine Grove Cemetery, in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Brent Bowman, Justin Riddle, Bob Daniel, Lanham Gregg, Bill Lewis and John Huggins.
