LORA LEE JONES

Lora Lee Jones, 95, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 11, 2025.  On September 4, 1930, she was born to Lonnie Lee Brooks and Ethel Leroy Brooks in Hollywood, Alabama.  Lora was of Methodist faith and attended New Hope Methodist Church in her younger years.  She was a homemaker being married to Johnny Jones before his death.  Lora was a very good mom and cook.   She loved spending time with her family, gardening, flowers, crafting, talking to her friends on the phone, and eating out.   Lora loved being social, she never met a stranger and was loved by everyone.

Lora is preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Lee Brooks; mother, Ethel Leroy Brooks; husband, Johnny Jones; son-in-law, Robert Keith; brothers, Bill Brooks, Franklin Brooks; sisters, Mary Griffin, Martha Ziegler, Rachel Brooks, Barbara Constanzo; grandchildren, Christy and Misty Gothard; and great great grandchild, Zoe Walden.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Lora Ann Keith, Linda (James) Frame, Patricia (Jimmy) Anderson; sisters, Alice Faye (Robert) Gross, Charlotte Kregl; grandchildren, David (Trina) Walden, Tiffany (Gary) Mosley, Greg (Christina) Bianchi, Lonnie (Holly) Gothard; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation is on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm CST (5:00 to 9:00 pm ET) and on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST (12:00 to 2:00 pm ET) at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 1:00 pm CST (2:00 pm ET) in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

Lora will be laid to rest on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Alec Walden, Michael Lloyd, Caleb Lloyd, Greg Bianchi, Steve Stevens and Jeff Huff.
