LINDA GODSBY HOLLIS

As the angels sang, the Lord took the hand of Linda Godsby Hollis to lead her to her heavenly home on Friday, August 21, 2020.   Linda was 53 years old and a lifetime resident of South Pittsburg, TN.    She was of the Church of God faith.   Linda loved spending her time with her family however her fondness past time was being a Mama Nana to her three grandchildren, Peyton, Maeson and Abby.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Godsby.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memories are her parents, James and Margaret Godsby; husband, Claude Hollis; sons, A.J. Hollis and Jake Hollis; daughter, Maegan (Preston Freeman) Hollis; brother, Michael Godsby; sister, Kathy Johnson; grandchildren, Peyton Freeman, Maeson Freeman and Makinsley Abby Hollis, 
nieces, Shayna Godsby and Katie Godsby​, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will have a private visitation on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. 

There will be a graveside service and internment for all friends and family at New Hope Cemetery in New Hope, TN on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 2:30 pm CST with Pastor David Marona officiating.
