LAURENCE “LARRY” LEROY JENNINGS
Laurence “Larry” Leroy Jennings, 80, of Jasper, Tennessee, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 3, 2026. Born November 9, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the beloved son of Delbert D. Jennings, Sr. and Inez Taylor Masuga.
Larry shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Beverely Webb Jennings, and built a long, respected career as a Manager for Piccadilly Restaurant. His steady leadership, kindness, and genuine care for others left a lasting mark on coworkers and customers who came to know him not just as a manager, but as a friend. He embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. A passionate gun collector, he found joy at the shooting range. He loved movies, especially westerns, and carried a deep, unwavering love for the Lord. To know Larry was to know true friendship. His warmth, loyalty, and easy companionship made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. Above all, Larry cherished his family. They were the center of his world, and he poured his heart into every moment spent with them. In his final act of generosity, he chose to be an organ donor, extending his legacy of compassion and giving. Larry’s life was a testament to faith, friendship, and the beauty found in simple, meaningful moments. His memory will be held close by all who were blessed to share in his life.
