Lamar "LG" Graham Obituary

Lamar “LG” Graham at the young age of 48 years old gained his wings to heaven on Monday, July 29, 2019.   Lamar was born on June 14, 1971 to the proud parents, Lanny Graham and Glenda King. Lamar was born in South Pittsburg, TN and lived most of his life in Jasper, TN and Bridgeport, AL.  Lamar loved this community of Jasper, Tennessee however his favorite home was living on his houseboat at Bennett Lake. He was an amazing football player at Marion County High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1991 from MCHS.   He also was involved with Boy Scouts of America.  As his former football coach stated, “Coach Johnny Grimes said he was his coach on both sides of the ball and Lamar was one that had a motor running full speed at all times”.   He was known as a great football player with fond memories of his success.

Lamar was employed with Jasper Industrial as a foreman.  His love was for his precious daughters and his three grandchildren.   He was an avid fisherman and hunter with the love of God’s great outdoors.  He loved his family and friends, the Tennessee VOLS, Nascar racing, fishing and hunting. Lamar loved life and helped many along his way. He was a good father, grandfather, son, and uncle and a good friend to many. He lived life to the fullest and he did it his way. He loved God and put his faith in Him many times throughout his life. He read the Red letters and believed.   He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and who loved him. Our world has lost a one of a kind and Heaven has gained another angel.
