KIMBERLY KAY DANIELS THURMAN

Kimberly Kay Daniels Thurman, age 55, entered the gates of heaven on Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 2020.  She had the best Christmas that anyone could ever have.    Kim was born on January 11, 1965 to her parents, Thomas and Mary Hicks Daniels.   She was a born again Christian and of the Baptist faith.  Her earthly home was Guild, TN.

Kim had been employed by KFC in Kimball, TN for 5 years before working at Food City in Cleveland, TN.  She loved her family as she always said “to the moon and back”.  Her greatest joy of her life though was her son, Nick Connelly, who was her gift from God.  When she left she took her families hearts with her.

She loved going to the beach or to the mountains on family vacations.  Just sitting, talking and spending time with family and friends was priceless to her.  Kim also loved anything with flamingos.

Kim was the epitome of “giving you the shirt off her back”.  If she thought you needed something and she had it she would give it to you, even if it was the last she had.  She was the most loving, caring and forgiving person.  If you knew her, you loved her. No matter her situation, you rarely saw her without a smile on her face.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Hicks Daniels; brother, Thomas Daniels, Jr. and sister, Peggy Palmer who passed away exactly a month before Kim.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories are her son, Nick Connelly; sisters, Barbara (Larry) Tuders and Tammy Shirley along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved friends.

The family will have visitation on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm ct at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

The graveside service will follow the visitation on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:30 pm ct at Pine Grove Cemetery, Pine Grove Road in New Hope, TN with Dusty Tuders officiating.
