KENNETH “PETE” G. CAGLE

Kenneth “Pete” G. Cagle, 87, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 7, 2023.  Pete was born to the late Ernest Cagle and Eliza Massengale Cagle on March 2, 1935. He was married to Cordie Castle Cagle for sixty-four years and attended the Church of the Nazarene in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.  Pete served in the United States Army, and he worked for Asplundh Tree Company as a General Foreman for forty-six years. He was very athletic and enjoyed golfing until his later years, his other interests included fishing, hunting and he was an avid bowler as well as a great baseball player.  In his youth he had tried out for the Lookouts and played on the United States Army baseball team.  He also played competitive softball for several decades.  Pete enjoyed many years coaching little league baseball in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. 

Pete is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Cagle; mother, Eliza Massengale Cagle; brothers, Charles Cagle, Nathan Cagle, Leon Cagle and Avon Cagle.

He leaves his memories to his wife, Cordie Castle Cagle and Mark Castle, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
