JOY “KATHY” KATHERINE PLOWMAN
Joy “Kathy” Katherine Plowman 67, of Scottsboro, Alabama was called home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. On February 16, 1958, she was born to the late James F. Lee and Charlotte Jefferies Lee in Jonesville, Louisiana. Kathy graduated from T. J. High School in Port Arthur, Texas. She worked as a Phlebotomist at South Pittsburg Hospital. Kathy was a very caring and giving person. She loved Tennessee football, Dr. Pepper, cooking and was an avid Kid Rock fan. Most of all, Kathy loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and her dogs, Asia and Alas-ka.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father, James F. Lee; and mother, Charlotte Jefferies Lee.
Left to cherish her memories are her fiancé, Spencer Forbuss; sons, Keith Lee, Melvin (Lacy) Plowman; daughter, Nicole Plowman; brothers, James Lee, Jeff (Sabrina) Lee; sisters, Nedra Pace, Jackie (Roland) Boudreaux; grandchildren Kaitlin Lee, Kirsten Lee, Justin Daniel, Hailey Lee, Bayne Lee, James Robert Lee, Grayson Plowman, Oliver Plowman; and grand cats; great grandchild, Cohen Beene; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation is Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 10:00 2:00 at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services are on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 2:00 in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
