John "Sam" C. Leiderman

JOHN C. “SAM” LEIDERMAN

John C. “Sam” Leiderman, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021 with his family at his side.   Sam, as all who knew him, was from Guild, TN.   He was born on January 14, 1933 to John and Addie Leiderman.

His career began in the U.S. Air Force where he spent time in Thule, Greenland as well as in the United Kingdom.  He loved anything to do with cars and spent his life in the automotive parts industry.  He worked for Hart’s Automotive for many years and also owned and operated Sam’s Auto Parts in Guild, TN during the 70’s and 80’s.  Sam enjoyed life through simple pleasures; chatting with family and friends, reading, eating and snacking, and swinging on his front porch.  He was always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Sam is preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Susan Webb Leiderman, brother Billy Joe Leiderman and parents John and Addie Leiderman.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Deborah (James “Whit”) Whitmire and Sara (Ryan) Fosse; sister, Shirley Kilgore; grandchildren, Elizabeth Whitmire, Sunsey Fosse and Syla Fosse, along with several nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.

There will be no visitation for Sam and he will be laid to rest in a private ceremony conducted by his family.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Marion Animal Resource Connection, P. O.
