At the eve of Christmas night on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, with her family at her side, the Lord called Joan C. Webb home at the age of 77 years old.    Joan lived in Jasper, Tennessee with her husband, Charles Webb of 57 years.  

Joan was a devoted member of the Whitwell Church of Christ in Whitwell, TN.  She was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother.  Her family was her most loved treasures.    Joan’s past times included painting, art work, her flower gardens and cooking. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russel and Mollie Shirley and brother, Tommy Shirley. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Charles Webb; daughter, Charla Games; brothers, Bill Shirley (Pat) and Gary Shirley (Wanda); grandchildren, Kadezjha Hagens, Tolly Layne and Savanna Frederick and great-grandchildren, Tucker and Adalyn Hagens along with a host of beloved friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 am CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Boggess officiating.

Joan will be laid to rest at Webb Cemetery in Jasper, TN following the funeral service.
