Jerry Don Cartwright

JERRY DON CARTWRIGHT

On the evening of Saturday, March 6, 2021, the Lord called Jerry Don Cartwright, age of 64, to the pearly gates of heaven.  Jerry Don lived in Sequatchie, TN and was a lifelong member of Marion County, TN.   He was born on September 8, 1956 to the late Billy Cartwright and Mary Nelson Cartwright.   He had been married to his soulmate, Cynthia Moon Cartwright for the past 44 years.    Jerry Don worked at W.R. Grace Chemical Plant as a maintenance operator.

Jerry Don loved being around his family and spending all the quality time he had giving them his undivided attention.  He loved being in the God’s great outdoors, in the mountains and taking in the wonders of the Lord’s creation.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Cartwright and Mary Nelson Cartwright; father-in-law, Charles Moon, Sr.; brothers, Kenneth Cartwright; and nieces, Angela Cartwright and Amy Hutchins.

Jerry Don is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Moon Cartwright; sons, Jared (Christen) Cartwright and James Cartwright; brothers, Steve Cartwright, David (Darlene) Cartwright and Dean (Judy) Cartwright; mother-in-law, Barbara Sudie Moon; brother-in-law, Chuck Moon; sister-in-law, Barbara Hutchins; nephews, Daniel Hutchins, Jason, Matthew and Grant Cartwright; nieces, Crystal Spangler and Frankie Rector along with a host of friends.

At this time the family will not have a visitation or graveside service for Jerry Don.   He will be laid to rest at a later date in a private ceremony with his family.
