JENNIE LEE COWIN

Jennie Lee Cowin, 92, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on Friday, December 9, 2022.  On August 6, 1930, Jennie was born to the late William Dallas Brewster and Blanche Underwood Brewster.  She was married to the late Charlie Wilson and later, Renos Edward Cowin.  She loved cooking for the family, feeding everyone and was famous for her cabbage rolls.  She loved playing with her great-grandchildren, playing cards and was considered a “jack of all trades”.

Jennie is preceded in death by her father, William Dallas Brewster; mother, Blanche Underwood Brewster; first husband, Charlie Wilson; second husband, Renos Edward Cowin; brothers, George Brewster, twins, Carl and Carlos Brewster, Bill Brewster and Jackie Brewster.

She leaves all her memories to her sons, Perry (Sheri Anne) Wilson, Larry (Janet) Wilson, Stan (Becky) Wilson, Danny Wilson; brothers, Ed Brewster, Lewis Brewster, Ray Brewster, Roy (Evelyn) Brewster; sisters, Geraldine (Lee) Woods, Patsy (Gary) Johnson, Carolyn (Speedy) Burnum; grandchildren, Kerry (Shelly) Wilson, Sherri (Bruce) Packwood, Amanda Wilson (Ryan Bargowski), Amie Vincent, April Wilson, Larry Dallas (Ashley) Wilson, Kathy (David) Straw, Maranda Wilson, fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm CST, at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

There will be a graveside service on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Havron Chapel Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee at 2:00 pm CST.

Pallbearers are Skyler Wilson, Ryan Bargowski, Nick Packwood, Chris Brewster, Bruce Packwood, and David Straw.
